Thanks for a good strong product
I just wanted to thank you for your brilliant product. I've long been a fan of the Mountain Buggy but until Monday of last week I didn't realise how good it was.
I was walking along the footpath holding the hand of my three-year-old daughter Alex while pushing my son Gabriel (almost two) in the buggy. As we were passing the supermarket, I saw a large Nissan Safari 4WD reversing rapidly towards us. I am 25 weeks pregnant and can't move very fast but managed to push Alex backward, while trying simultaneously to bang the vehicle and push Gabriel forward - but it all happened in seconds and apart from Alex, we couldn't get out of the way in time.
As a result, I and my son were knocked off the footpath and ended up lying in the road. I was covered in cuts and bruises, while Gabriel, whose buggy had gone directly under the wheel, was screaming. I thought the worst but on checking him, physically at least he was completely unscathed. The wheels of the buggy had buckled sideways and the frame had been slightly bent from the impact, but it had nonetheless cradled him totally and safely.
